LKKHPG realizes that employees are essential to a successful business. To help them strike a healthy balance between life and work, LKKHPG protects their legal rights and interests. This is a logical and necessary step in the way to full CSR.
Employees are important assets of the company. In providing care to the employees, the company has been actively advocating the concept of “Tri-balance”, the balance between health, family and career, emphasizing the importance of physical health, family harmony and career fulfillment for a healthy life. The well-being of employees also influences the development and accomplishments of the company. Therefore, helping employees live a healthy life is one of the main commitments within the company’s CSR plan. Since 2012, LKKHPG has been building the Platform for Employee’s Healthy Life and has organized a series of various activities. A sharing platform is provided for the employees to share their knowledge and thinking about how to reach a balance between health, family and career. This platform has facilitated the communication and sharing between employees and created a positive atmosphere. Other actions include promoting flexible breaks and healthy exercise in the office, organizing publicity and a writing contest on “staying away from cigarettes”, and circulating small tips for a healthy lifestyle. These measures are designed to raise the awareness of importance of health among employees and help them live up to it. Activities like “Happy Family Day” and “Little Chemists” for employees’ kids are meant to facilitate contacts between family members. To raise the awareness of environmental care, there are activities like “One Hour for the Globe”, a call for ideas on saving water, and tree-planting day. Social awareness is stimulated by the “Love Me Hug Me” activity, where employees are invited to bring care to disabled children in welfare houses. Through these simple, feasible and highly-engaging activities, LKKHPG aims to help employees live a healthy life.
